Procreate Doodles: Masked Robots
I’m a vector art nerd at heart so I rarely do any digital painting and generally shy away from tablet drawing apps, but I’d heard good things about the Apple Pencil and Procreate so thought I’d give them a go!

So, this happened! The super talented @JoyComplex made a 3D printed Robot Skull charm from one of my doodles! The first of a few jewellery and figurine collabs we’re working on together.
This piece is available to buy in all kinds of materials and finishes, from Steel to 18k Gold. Head on over to Joy Complex’s Shapeways store for a closer look.
With the Collab Nation Black & White stages all finished up, it was time to start adding colour and making them into prints.
Meet (the temporarily nicknamed) Robot Dude! A new character design I created as part of a series of illustrations for Web Developer Kirsty Burgoine, to use at the conference talks she’s doing throughout the summer.
I thought it was about time to update the little robot character on my website, so spent a bit of time giving her an upgrade over the weekend.
I made a new Vinyl and Sharpie piece this weekend, for the Chance of Rain Summer BBQ n Graff Jam at The Ram & Shackle in Manchester.
I’ve been working on a Steampunk inspired, tillable doodle pattern this week. I’ve been meaning to give pattern making a go for a while now and see how my illustrations translate – I thoroughly enjoyed experimenting and putting it together.
One of my favourite collaborative art projects, Collab Nation, is back for another round with Experiment 4!
