Those of you who follow me on twitter have probably seen a fair amount tweets about the Collaberation (Inter)Nation(al) project I’ve been taking part in this year.
Think of a chain letter for anyone who likes to illustrate. Up and coming artists and well established professional doodlers, working together to create beautiful pieces of art.
Illustrators and graffiti artists get to add their stamp and pass it on. In groups of around 4 people, each artist starts a piece off, and then sends it to the next person to add their bit, and so it goes on. The completed piece eventually gets returned to the original artist who gets to keep the piece, with limited edition prints being available for everyone else.
I took part in the first Collaberation (Inter)Nation(al) project earlier this year and was stoked to be taking part in the second wave. Once again, this was fun project to work on and I’ve discovered even more awesome artists and illustrators along the way.
My piece (featured above) features illustrations from Little Gamgee, Miss C and Kemo Kame. Limited edition prints are available at £50 a piece – if you’d like to purchase one, contact me on firstname.lastname@example.org
I have a lot of time for this project, so am delighted to be taking part in the third Collab (Inter)Nation(al) wave which kicked off earlier this week. The next wave promises to be bigger and better than the last with an amazing line up of 58 artists!
