#TwitterArtExhibit 2018

The #TwitterArtExhibit is an annual exhibition which invites artists of all skill levels from across the world to donate an original piece of post card sized artwork to raise funds for an elected charity in the host country.

Here’s my submission (above) which was created using watercolours, posca paint pens and a bit of collaging. I usually struggle with watercolours but after watching some YouTube tutorials and experimenting with layering, I found a technique that worked and ended up having fun with it.

The Exhibit runs from April 7 to April 29 at the Strathnairn Arts Gallery in Canberra, Australia. The elected charity for this year’s show is the Pegasus Riding for the Disabled of the ACT Inc.
