I finished up a new mini mixed media kitty artwork last week, which is now winging its way over to Orlando, Florida, for the charity driven #TwitterArtExhibit.

The annual exhibit invites artists from across the world to donate an original, hand made, postcard sized piece of artwork, to raise funds for a pre elected charity, which this year supports The Center for Contemporary Dance, Special Needs Classes.

My submission was created using acrylic paints, layered hand-cut paper and permanent markers.  It’s been a while since I last played with paints so I had fun making a mess putting it together.

There have been a wonderfully eclectic range of submissions this year, some of which I’ve featured over on Art Junky – artjunky.net/2014/02/10/international-twitterartexhibit-2014/
