The colour institute Pantone has long been the mentor of colour. Creating standardised colours to be used in the design industries and forecasting colour trends that tint our world. In their recent statement, the company announced PANTONE 17–1463 Tangerine Tango as the Colour of the Year for 2012.

Typographic Image for Accelerate Associates

Local market research company, Accelerate Associates, recently commissioned my design agency to create a typographic artwork to accompany a national press release.

As the company’s branding is a very clean cut and minimal – the artwork needed to reflect this style and be unfussy, keep within the brand colours and only use the 2 fonts within the brand guidelines.

Illustrations for Creative Boom

Creative Boom — an online magazine for the creative industries which gets over 650,000 hits per month — approached me recently to create some unique illustrations for its new website redesign. Working closely with the web designer, Ant Goodwin of Design Embraced, I created some little characters which now appear throughout the site, including within the web headers, above the footer contact form and even on the Error404 page…
