Doodle Run for BlackBerry

I’m pleased to announce that TwoPinStudio, has just launched a new BlackBerry game starring one of my Daily Doodle characters!

The indie game designer contacted me a while ago asking if I could licence out one of the characters for a smart phone game – as always, I agreed under the condition that a licence fee was paid to Shelter, the charity I’ve been fundraising for with these illustrations.

I didn’t hear any more about the project until the launch this weekend so it came as a nice surprise when I received the email letting me know it was finished and available for sale.

I’ve always wanted to see one of my characters come to life using animation, so I was excited to hear that the game had gone ahead. I couldn’t wait to give it a go and was pleased to see what a great job had been done.

The simple, yet addictively fun little tilt game, involves navigating the main character through a series of levels, collecting stars and avoiding monsters.

You can check out a video of the game over on YouTube, or visit the BlackBerry App World website to download the app for yourself.

As always, if you’d like to buy a licence to use one of my characters in your project, email me on hello@stinajones.co.uk to find out how.
