I created a new mascot character yesterday for ArtJunky.net – the online magazine I helped set up in November 2012. I often talk about how character designs can add a unique edge to a brand, so creating one for Art Junky was an obvious development for the site.

We wanted to develop something bold and unique, with minimal colours so as not to clash with the content or clean cut site design. I also included a small doodle in the footer to tie the style into the brand more seamlessly.

The new graphics were uploaded to the site last night so head on over to ArtJunky.net to see them in action. I’d love to hear what you think!

Fabulous job Stina, they look awesome on the site, and you are right, they make a big difference, and add individuality. :)
